The 2025 Sustainability Report marks a significant step in Dorsch Global's commitment to responsible business conduct: a clear account of where the company stands today, and the foundation on which it intends to build.
A dual responsibility
Sustainable development is one of the defining challenges of our time - for the global economy and for society's long-term resilience. Dorsch Global approaches this challenge with a clear sense of purpose.
"As an international engineering and consulting company, we embrace a dual responsibility: managing the environmental impacts and risks within our own operations, while enabling our clients and partners to develop the infrastructure and systems needed for a sustainable, resilient future", underlines Tanja Baur, Member of the Dorsch Global Executive Board
Dorsch Global's most significant contributions to sustainable development are found across its 12,000+ client projects worldwide. This is where the company has the greatest capacity to respond to pressing environmental challenges and support societal wellbeing. “The 2025 Sustainability Report goes beyond ESG disclosures: it also showcases selected lighthouse projects, and - above all - recognises the people who make it happen”, explains Ann-Sophie Abel, Global ESG Lead at Dorsch Global.
Dorsch Global applied the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) as a guiding framework on a voluntary basis - ahead of any legal obligation to do so. "This was a deliberate choice. By holding ourselves to this standard from the outset, we are building a foundation of credibility and accountability that will serve us - and our clients - for years to come” explains Tanja Baur. Based on the current status of regulatory developments, Dorsch Global anticipates being legally obliged to report under the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) from the financial year 2027 onwards.
A shared conviction
Whether designing reliable, next-generation energy systems, safeguarding essential resources and ecosystems, or planning inclusive infrastructure for communities - Dorsch Global's projects help shape a more liveable and resilient world. "Across our global organisation, we hold one important conviction: our work should make a lasting and positive impact" states Ayman Haikal, CEO Dorsch Global.
The 2025 Sustainability Report brings that contribution into focus for the first time, in one place, for every stakeholder to see.
